Science, in your head, on repeat.
StudyBeats turns UK secondary school science into songs. Three-minute tracks. Real lyrics teaching real content. Sung by an actual voice, not read out by a robot. Built for revision, but really built for anyone whose brain works better with rhythm than with paragraphs.
Why songs
Reading a textbook works for some students. For others it does not. Rhyme, melody, and repetition activate parts of the brain that text alone never reaches. The chorus you cannot get out of your head this morning is not an accident. It is how memory actually works.
If you struggle to revise from notes, you are not behind. You just learn differently. StudyBeats is built for the way your brain already remembers everything else.
Made by a teacher
StudyBeats was built by a working classroom teacher who learns differently themselves. The lyrics are checked against the actual specifications. Year 7 to 9 follows the UK National Curriculum for KS3 Science. Year 10 and 11 follows the AQA GCSE Combined Science: Trilogy specification (8464).
Every chorus carries the single most important fact from the lesson. Every verse builds the detail around it. Where mnemonics exist, they are used. Where specification terminology matters, it is preserved. The songs are not vibes with science words sprinkled in. They are revision tools that happen to sound like music.
Free for now. Free forever for students.
StudyBeats does not have ads. It does not track you. It does not have accounts. Your name and your favourites are saved on your own device, in your browser, and nowhere else. Clear your browser and they are gone.
The site is paid for out of pocket while it grows. If it becomes useful enough to need real funding, that will come from schools and parents, not from selling student data.
How it gets built
When you press Play on a lesson for the first time, two things happen in the background. The lyrics are written by an AI language model. The vocals and music are generated by an AI music model. The result is stored, so the next student to hit the same lesson hears the same song instantly. Every lesson exists once, locked in, with no further cost. The science behind the lyrics is checked against the spec before generation.
This is the only realistic way a single teacher can build a revision tool for 195 lessons across five year groups without a record label or a budget. AI is a tool here, not the point. The point is the student on the bus.
What is next
More features are coming once the audience grows. Quiz mode after each song. Cram mode with exam date countdowns. Multiple music genres so you pick the style you actually listen to. A revision playlist mode that queues a whole topic. None of these are in v1 because v1 had to ship.
Built for every brain.
That is the line on the homepage. It is not a marketing slogan. It is the brief the whole site was built against. If your brain has been told it is broken, slow, or wrong by school, this site is for you specifically. Welcome.
